A New Chapter for Perpendicular Monkey Limited

Perpendicular Monkey Limited launched in 2020 as a web design company, creating small, handcrafted sites with a focus on clarity, speed, and accessibility. In 2025, we made the leap into app development — a natural evolution that allows us to bring thoughtful design and purposeful functionality together. Our first two apps, GoalPop and Shared Breath, are currently in development and are expected to launch before 2026.

Perpendicular Monkey is a very personal project for me. I’m a full-time carer for my son, George, who has severe learning difficulties, and much of my creative thinking is inspired by the world he experiences. Several of my future app ideas are designed with people like George in mind. Tools that make life a little easier, calmer, or more connected for individuals with complex needs and their families.

Alongside my work with Perpendicular Monkey, I serve as Chair of Governors for a school for children with profound and complex needs. School governors are volunteers who hold legal responsibility for the strategic direction, accountability, and financial oversight of their schools. It’s a role that demands both empathy and rigour. Ensuring that the school continues to thrive, that every child receives the best possible support, and that staff are empowered to do their incredible work.

Together, these experiences shape the vision of Perpendicular Monkey Limited, creating technology that’s thoughtful, inclusive, and rooted in real-world understanding.
