Shared Breath is a meditation app with a unique approach. It’s not just another generic app; it’s about creating a shared experience between you and me. Together, we meditate, reflect on our day, and grow. New daily meditations, along with focused five and ten minute sessions, are available for free.

For those seeking a deeper experience, longer meditations can be accessed through a small subscription, and personalised meditations tailored just for you are also available to order.

Why health apps?

Health apps were our natural starting point because health is a priority that resonates deeply with me on a very personal level. As a full-time carer for my wife and son, both living with lifelong conditions, maintaining my own health and overall wellbeing is absolutely essential.

The ongoing demands and challenges of caregiving make it increasingly clear that I must prioritise both my physical and mental resilience, as my capacity to support and care for my family depends entirely on it.

Simply put, I need to live as long and as well as possible, and creating tools that encourage and promote healthier lifestyles is a direct reflection of this fundamental and deeply rooted need.

What’s next?

We are busy developing a series of apps aimed at children with special needs. This is another topic close to my heart. After that, for health and wellbeing we have a few ideas, keep an eye on the announcement blog for details!

Coming Soon - Apps for Children with Special Needs

My son George has severe learning difficulties and autism. He’s 17 now, and when I look back on his life, I can see so many missed opportunities where specially designed apps could have made a significant difference for children just like him.

We are excited and hopeful to launch the first of these helpful apps in December and more in the first quarter of 2026, aiming to provide valuable support to families and children navigating similar challenges.

Decoy Burgers

Decoy Burgers is a blog about raising George, we’ll promote the apps too, but mostly it’s a place to share our story and spread the word on what it is like raising a child with complex needs.

Meet Anthony

(Director and Developer at Perpendicular Monkey Limited)

With over 25 years’ experience in web development, I’ve spent most of my career designing and building creative, accessible digital experiences. In recent years, my focus has evolved toward mobile app development, projects that combine technology with real human purpose.

I live on the south coast with my wife, Miri, our family, and our golden retriever, Mr Howie. Much of my work is shaped by family life and by raising our son, George, who has severe learning difficulties and autism. His perspective has changed how I see the world and continues to inspire the kind of software I want to build, tools that make life a little easier, calmer, or more connected.

Alongside my professional work, I volunteer as a school governor for a local special school, helping to support inclusive education and strong partnerships between families and educators.

When I’m not coding, you’ll usually find me cooking (preferably outdoors), taking photos, or experimenting with new ways to blend creativity and technology.
